Unlocking Solar Capital Africa 2019 will feature a GET.invest Business-to-Business (B2B) matchmaking session. The session will provide you with an opportunity to connect with potential business partners, investors, relevant policymakers and experts through a series of select personal meetings.
The proven B2B matchmaking format offers:
An online platform, where you can present yourself and your business, browse the profiles of other attendees and request meetings with a single click
A free mobile app (available on the App Store and on Google Play) where you can manage your meetings from wherever and whenever you want
Up to five 15-minute personal meetings with conversation partners of your choice
Personal assistance from the B2B matchmaking team on site during the event
The B2B matchmaking
session will be hosted by GET.invest, a European multi-donor programme
supported by the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Austria.
The
GET.invest B2B matchmaking session will take place on October 17 at 15:30h
(3:30 pm) at the conference venue. Meetings with sponsors will be possible during the indicated sponsor sessions during day 1 and 2 of the conference.
Your participation
Activate your online business profile on the GET.invest matchmaking platform to present your technologies, products and services. Get online access to the pool of participants to
identify potential business partners and meet companies, research
organisations, investors and policymakers of your choice in
pre-scheduled face2face meetings during the matchmaking session at the Unlocking Solar Capital Africa Conference 2019.
To participate in the B2B Matchmaking it is mandatory to sign up for the Unlocking Solar Capital Africa Conference 2019. You will receive an email invitation a few days after you have registered for the conference. Once you have activated your business profile, it will be visible
to all registered participants. You can start scheduling meetings from October 1, 2019. For more details on the matchmaking process, please see below.
Meetings can be scheduled for the main matchmaking session on October 17. If you wish to meet any of the sponsors, you can request sponsor meetings on this platform for a time slot on October 16 or 17.
Have a look at the agenda and specify when you are available for meetings. Each session is limited to 15 minutes.

How it works
1. Registration
Register to the Unlocking Solar Capital conference. You will receive an email invitation a few days later to activate your profile on the B2B Matchmaking Platform. Indicate when you want to be available for meetings. This determines up to how many meetings you can have.
2. Login
You can access the B2B platform via your computer or mobile app. The
mobile app allows you to manage your meetings wherever you are, even on
the date of the event. Install the mobile app via the App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Your profile
Next up you create a profile that will be visible to other signed up
attendees on the event website. This profile describes what you are
looking for and what you offer to potential partners. The better the quality of your profile, the more requests you will receive. You can change your profile anytime.
4. Meeting requests
On October 1, you can start to receive and send meetings requests to attendees you want to meet at the event. Bookings will be possible until the day of the event. However, we recommend that you send out meetings requests early to avoid that your targeted meeting partner is
already
booked out.
